Katie Lowe, SCC Theatre major, will be looking for a variety of performers to fill roles in the college’s spring production, “Sketches!” Lowe will be directing “Sketches!” this year.
“Sketches!” is an annual event that features short comic sketches submitted by playwrights from across the country. The production is scheduled for April 11 and 12. Rehearsals will begin in late February.
SCC Theatre Director Steve Cleberg will be considering talent for the summer film project, “A Simple Arrangement.” The film follows the humorous tale of an arranged marriage that doesn’t go as planned. Three men and four women will be needed to fill out the cast. Two of the cast members are teens, approximately sixteen years old. The project is expected to film in June and July.
