Ward Correll, third from left below, agreed to make a gift of $100,000 to Somerset Community College (SCC) if the college could raise an additional $900,000. That promise was made in April, 2013 and on December 18, 2013, Correll presented a check to SCC President and CEO Dr. Jo Marshall. Correll is the owner and director of Cumberland Lake Shell and is well-known for his philanthropy. The gift from Correll will be used to assist students in their pursuit of educational goals.
